Township Alerts Port Huron Township Lobby Closed - Effective Immediately: The Charter Township of Port Huron lobby is currently closed until further notice for paying of bills and other activities due to the large increase in COVID-19 cases in St Clair County. The office employees are here and you may call them during normal business hours our phone number is 810-987-6600. You may still pay your bills several ways: our Red drop box in the east driveway, front door drop box, and online at www.porthurontownship.org by phone for utilities at: 1-877-885-7968 For all other bills such as Cost Recovery, Fines, Personal Property Taxes, etc. at 1-866-917-7368 Summer/Winter Property Tax payments must be made at St. Clair County Treasurers Office. FEMA - Covid 19 Related Funeral Expense Reimbursement: Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Congress authorized FEMA to provide financial assistance to individuals who incurred COVID-19 related funeral expenses after January 20, 2020. Notice for Taking of Bids: Port Huron Township Park Commission is taking bids for the restoration of ball diamond #3 at Memorial Field (Beach Road). The bids should include the estimated costs to remove and haul away the old clay; haul in new field dirt from either stock pile or from local company; and labor for raking and batter’s box installation. Township Master Plan Survey: The Port Huron Township Planning Commission is updating the Township Master Plan, as well as the five-year parks and recreation plan. These two documents - which traditionally were separate documents - will be integrated into one overall Master Plan document.
